Your Vacation and Exercise

There are lots of reasons to take a vacation this summer.  Some will be to tour a new location, to visit family and others will be just to get away from it all and relax.  I’m sure there are other reasons as well, but no matter the reason, you can find just 30-minutes for yourself and your health.  You might be surprised to learn how much you can fit into 30 minutes.  You can get an entire body workout fit into this time frame and the fat-burning effects will last for hours.  The variables are endless so you have to think about what your goals are and what you need to do to achieve them.  If you already have a regular routine and you can fit the entire workout into your vacation or even if you need to trim it down, it can be achieved with a little bit of planning.  You can escape your hectic daily rut, keep up with you fitness goals and not return with extra baggage.  Checkout this article in U.S. News about taking your exercise on vacation:

Sometimes it might seem that vacation is the only time when you can fit in a workout.  Your regular daily schedule might be so jammed that a workout is the last thing you could ever imagine squeezing in.  The start of anything, specifically a workout routine is usually a hurdle that seems insurmountable.  However, once you make that leap and you get a few workouts under your belt, the habit of good health and fitness is formed.  With more energy gained from each new workout, you will find that you feel better throughout the  day and maybe even get more done.  The idea of it is hard, but you will never be mad at yourself for getting your workout into your day.  Never.
